I-LEEAD doing business as (DBA) Deaf Focus is a community agency that was established in 2009 to fill the gaps in services for the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing community in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

The Deaf Focus TEAM believes that with resources, encouragement, and support, people who have typically been disadvantaged can thrive. We provide services primarily with people who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing and their families but also work wih clients who have no connection with deafness. 

Our TEAM is uniquely qualified to meet the needs of the community. Many of our professionals are Deaf or Hard of Hearing or have deafness in their family. 

Deaf Focus Service screens and background checks all interpreters. We employ over 20 interpreters.  Most of our interpreters are  nationally certified through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and all are qualified to meet the communication needs of Deaf individuals and their families.
